When Jorge was eight years old, he vividly remembers learning the meaning of hard work. His father was a no-nonsense man who worked as a sous chef at Piatti Restaurant. After school, Jorge would march over to his old man’s work and join the staff in scrubbing off the dried up lasagna from the afternoon lunch crowd plates. He also fondly recalls his grandparents waking up at 5 AM to tend to their duties at Liparita Ranch in Yountville. These experiences will forever live in his heart and have shaped him into the man he is today. Growing up in Napa Valley has been a blessing to Jorge, he has built an extensive network of friends and has watched his town grow from a small farming community to one of the world’s most luxurious wine regions.

In 2007, Jorge obtained his first job in the wine industry with the Deleuze family at ZD Wines. Later on in is his career, Jorge expanded his skillset as a Private Client Manager for Knight’s Bridge Winery, successfully launching their first food and wine pairing through Solage Resort and Spa. In 2020, Jorge shifted gears and landed a prestigious opportunity as DTC Sales & Marketing Specialist with Sodaro Estate Winery and elevated their hospitality experiences to a luxury level. For ten years, Jorge has honed his skills as a hospitality professional, developing the art of storytelling, salesmanship, and first-class hospitality.
